CQ.UK is our most refined consumer coating.

The third iteration of the world-renowned nano-ceramic coating, it delivers the highest performance ever, with increased resistance to salt build-up, chemical resistance from pH 3-14 and tolerance to extreme temperatures.

As always and as with all our products, we remain true to our philosophy of under-promising and over-delivering, which is why our real-world durability claim for CQ.UK 3.0 is 18-24 months.

One of the key requirements of our R&D process was ease of use, so that CQ.UK could still be considered a consumer product and did not require laboratory-like application conditions.

After months of tireless development and further testing, we are proud to say that for the first time, CQ.UK is easy to apply in a temperature range of 3-40 degrees C! At the same time, we have retained the classic CQUARTZ UK wipe/wipe application, so it can be polished straight away or left for a few minutes while polishing super cleanly and easily. It does not leave a sticky, clingy surface, making it the best choice for professionals and detailing enthusiasts.

ATTENTION

  • Do not apply in direct sunlight or on a hot surface.
  • Do not reuse applicators

  • We recommend wearing respiratory protection such as a painter's mask.

  • Decontamination and washing of your vehicle before polishing.
  • To get the most out of CQuartz, your vehicle must have all surfaces 100% clean and the paintwork polished to a high standard.
  • Use CARPRO Reflect to achieve an incredible glossy finish
  • Use CARPRO Eraser to remove any remaining oil after polishing - This is essential to ensure the durability of the CQuartz.
  • We recommend CARPRO double-sided microfibers
  • We recommend microfiber applicator mitts

 

  • Keep surface dry for at least 3 hours after application (for best results, keep dry for 24 hours).
  • Gently wipe any water from the surface for the first 24 hours after application.
  • Avoid detergents and chemicals for 5 days after application.
  • Finding the right time to “level” (wipe off) excess coating after flashing
  • Start with a single 30cm x 30cm test section to determine flash time before applying coating to entire vehicle. Flash time will vary depending on temperature, humidity, air movement, paint type, thickness, etc.
  • If the coating is applied thickly, the coating will take longer to react. If it is applied thinly, it will react more quickly. Warm temperatures will make it react faster and cold temperatures will make it react more slowly. Air movement will also make it react faster.
  • As it reacts, you will see it change from a darker, wetter appearance to a lighter, drier appearance.
  • All streaks should wipe away easily and the paint should be nice and clear.
