Dual action vs. rotary polisher: which one to choose?
Choosing between a dual-action polisher and a rotary polisher mainly depends on your level of experience, the type of correction sought, and the surfaces to be worked on.

Both can produce excellent results, but their movement is completely different.
Dual-action polisher

A dual-action (DA) polisher combines two movements: the pad rotates on its own axis while also performing an orbital movement.
This design allows for better distribution of the pad's action on the paint and makes the machine easier to control.

However, it requires more skill, as heat can build up quickly and poor technique can produce holograms or damage the clear coat.
Dual action: 15mm or 21mm?

On a dual-action polisher, 15mm and 21mm represent the orbit throw, not the size of the pad.
A 15mm offers an excellent balance between correction, control, and maneuverability. It is particularly versatile and works very well on curves and panels of different sizes.
A 21mm performs a larger orbit. It allows for covering more surface area with each pass and becomes particularly effective on large panels such as hoods, doors, and roofs.
