The IK FOAM Pro 2 ALK is designed for use with alkaline (ALK) products and comes with two interchangeable felt strips , allowing the foam to be adapted to the type of chemistry used:

To be used by default with the majority of chemicals (except extreme alkalis). -
Grey felt-tip pen :
Specifically designed for strong alkalis (pH 11 to 14) .
Choosing the felt according to the pH of the product ensures optimal foam , better safety and increased lifespan of the sprayer.
